A method and apparatus for processing a two-dimensional data table are disclosed in embodiment of that present application. One embodiment of the method includes receiving an operation information processing instruction related to a target two-dimensional data table; if the operation information processing instruction belongs to a deletion instruction or a modification instruction, the following processing steps being executed: processing the target operation information in the operation information sequence associated with the target two-dimensional data table based on the operation information processing instruction, wherein the target operation information is the operation information pointed to by the operation information processing instruction; the processed operation information sequence being determined as a new sequence, and the target two-dimensional data table being edited based on the new sequence. By adopting the mode of associating the target two-dimensional data table with the operation information sequence at the client end, the embodiment enables the client end to edit the target two-dimensional data table in real time based on the operation information sequence, improves the edit efficiency, and effectively shortens the waiting time of the user to the edit result.
