Abstract

The flow forwarding method comprises: when one business board of a device is detected to be resumed from an abnormal state to a normal state, a main control board determines whether a working mode of a current business board is a non-preemptive mode; if so, a role of the device in a VSM network is determined; when the device is a master device, a business board dynamic identifier is synchronized to a slave device; when the device is a slave device, a business board dynamic identifier stored by the device isupdated by using the obtained business board dynamic identifier of the master device, wherein the business board dynamic identifier is a currently used business board identifier stored in a main control board of each device; and according to a preset flow definition forwarding strategy, a flow forwarding direction is controlled.
