In the method, the mean is solved based on the current errors of all the electricity meters in the network, and by taking the solved mean as calibration quantity, the electricity meters in the whole network are calibrated. Since a stepof extracting the electricity meter error values is triggered periodically, errors of the electricity meters in the whole network can be reduced effectively through multiple iterative operations, andthe electricity meters of the whole network are calibrated based on the reduced errors, thus, the electricity meters in the whole network can be in a state of having relatively less error, and accuracy of clocks in the electricity meters is improved effectively.
