The retaining wall with the shear resisting plate comprises a retaining wall body, the shear resisting plate arranged on a wall top, a lower filling area and an upper filling area, wherein the lower filling area is arranged at the lower parts of a wall back and the shear resisting plate in a filling manner; the upper filling area is arranged at the upper part of the shear resisting plate in a filling manner; the lower filling area takes a fracture surface as an interface; a sliding area is arranged among the right side of the wall back, the left side of the fracture surface and the lower side of the shear resisting plate; a stabilizing area is arranged at the areas on the right side of the fracture surface and the lower side of the shear resisting plate; one end of the shear resisting plate is connected withthe wall top; the other end of the shear resisting plate extends into the stabilizing area; and the shear resisting plate is arranged horizontally.
