Benefits of technology

This patented technology helps prevent diseases spread by controlling root system growth on plants grown indoors or at home during winter months without causing damage from excessive water loss (frost). It also allows growers to choose between different types of vegetables based upon their needs rather than just having them themselves planted next year's crops like tomatoes.

Problems solved by technology

This patented describes how crops like sugar Persimony (Sweets) produce edible products that contain betelnut oil or other beneficial ingredients. These crop plants require special facilities and methods during their growing cycles due to its fast reproduction speed and ease of recovery postage. Additionally, these vegetables often suffer from root rot issues where they cannot find suitable land because of insufficient space available near them. Therefore, this patents proposes new techniques aimed towards improving both greenhouse culture and producing sweeteners without compromising germination rates and productivity potential.

Embodiment 1

[0040] Implementation location: Fuyang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province

[0041] Implementation time: November 2015 ~ December 2017

[0042] The sweet persimmon variety of the embodiment of the present invention adopts 'Taiqiu' rootstock 'Yalin Persimmon Root No. 6', which was introduced from Japan in 2002 by the Subtropical Forestry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry. Approved by species. The quality of 'Taiqiu' sweet persimmon is very good. It is the main variety that will be vigorously promoted in production at present, and it is suitable for cultivation in the south. However, this variety has strict requirements on rootstocks, and it is not compatible with many rootstocks such as Junqianzi. The Yalin Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry has selected and bred sweet persimmon wide-compatibility rootstock 'Yalin Shizhen No.

Embodiment 2

[0055] Implementation location: Fuyang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province

[0056] Implementation time: November 2016 ~ December 2018

[0057] The same as embodiment 1 will not be repeated, the difference is:

[0058] In March 2017, the rootstock seeding containers were all non-woven containers (φ20cm). Set up 12 matrix formulas (see Table 2), and mix them evenly according to the volume ratio of various matrix components in Table 2. The ratio of each matrix is 100 pots, and field seedlings are used as the control.

[0061] Data investigation and processing method: On December 2, 2018, the main root length, root system distribution, number of primary lateral roots, number of secondary lateral roots, fibrous roots, root weight, and primary lateral roots were measured in each container on December 2, 2018. Dry weight, dry weight of secondary lateral roots, dry weight of fibrous roots, seedling height, gr...

Abstract

The invention discloses a sweet persimmon container seedling culture substrate and a seedling culture method thereof. The substrate is prepared from components as follows: vermiculite, bran, bio-organic fertilizer and yellow soil in the volume ratio being 4:2:4:5. The method comprises the steps as follows: collection and storage of stock seeds, collection and treatment of scions, sowing of the stock seeds, management of stock seedlings, grafting, management of grafted seedlings and transplanting from nursery. The substrate is light, so that the transportation cost of container seedlings is greatly reduced. The optimal root control container and the optimal substrate are screened out, cultured sweet persimmon container seedlings have advanced root systems, the main root length, fibrous rootnumber and root weight are increased by 62.43%, 459.13% and 459.13% respectively as compared with field seedlings, root systems and the substrate closely intertwine, during transplanting forestation,a seedling recovery period is avoided, and the transplanting survival rate is up to 100%. The cultured sweet persimmon container seedlings grow robustly, the seedling height, ground diameter and biomass are increased by 46.61%, 102.19% and 98.77% respectively as compared with the field seedlings, seedlings store more nutrient substances, and the container seedlings can be put into production early after forestation.
