Abstract

The invention discloses an ultra-wideband polarization conversion metasurface structure which comprises a triangular chessboard and two kinds of artificial electromagnetic surface (AMC) units. One AMCunit is arranged in the triangular chessboard according to a set period rule; wherein the two AMC units always have a phase difference of 180 degrees; each AMC unit comprises an outer double-V-shapedstructure and an inner double-V-shaped structure; the outer double-V-shaped structure comprises two large V-shaped structures which are located on the v-axis and are symmetrical about the u-axis, andopenings of the large V-shaped structures are oppositely arranged; wherein the u axis and the v axis are located on two diagonal lines of the AMC unit and are perpendicular to each other; the inner double-V-shaped structure is located in the outer double-V-shaped structure and comprises two small V-shaped structures which are located on the u axis and symmetrical about the v axis, and openings ofthe small V-shaped structures are oppositely arranged. According to the present invention, the linearly polarized wave can be converted into the orthogonally polarized wave within the ultra-widebandrange of 14.3 GHz to 43.2 GHz, and the PCR value is more than 90% within the range. Meanwhile, through the triangular chessboard structure arrangement, the ultra-wideband radar cross section (RCS) reduction of more than 10dB from 16.8 GHz to 37.3 GHz can be realized.
