The method comprises the steps of obtaining a to-be-coded video; extracting target attribute information of the to-be-coded video, wherein the target attribute information is used for representing self attributes of the to-be-coded video; determining a target feature vector corresponding to the target attribute information according to a predetermined corresponding relationship between the attribute information of the video and the feature vector; inputting the target feature vector into a code rate prediction model to obtain a target code rate vector; and determining a target coding rate corresponding to the target code rate vector according to a predetermined corresponding relationship between the code rate vector and the coding rate, and determining the target coding rate as the coding rate of the to-be-coded video.
