Embodiment 1

[0043] Example 1: Using zircons to quickly determine the ore-forming potential of the tungsten-tin-lead-zinc polymetallic orefield in Xitian, Hunan

[0044] The Xitian tungsten-tin polymetallic ore field in Chaling County, Hunan Province is located in the middle section of the Nanling metallogenic belt. There are a large number of tungsten-tin, lead-zinc, and fluorite deposits in the area. It is an important tungsten-tin polymetallic producing area in my country. The Jurassic metallogenic stage of this orefield is controlled by the extensional tectonic environment, and most of the deposits are vein deposits, which is a natural laboratory for the study of vein deposit exploration methods.

[0045] The zircons in the quartz veins of three representative vein deposits in this ore field (Xiangdong Tungsten Mine, Dogadalan Tungsten Mine and Chaling Lead-Zinc Mine) were selected for analysis. The analysis process is as follows:

[0046] Firstly, a sample of the two types of quartz v...

[0052] Example 2: Using zircon to quickly determine the ore-forming potential of Xianghualing lead-zinc deposit in Hunan

[0053] The Xianghualing lead-zinc deposit in Xitian, Linwu County, Hunan Province is located in the middle section of the Nanling metallogenic belt. There are a large number of quartz vein-type vein deposits in the mining area, which are strictly controlled by faults.

[0054] The zircon in the typical quartz veins of this deposit is selected for analysis. The analysis process is as follows:

[0055] Firstly, four samples of ore-bearing quartz vein sulfide ore were taken in the field for zircon sorting, and 100 zircons were randomly selected from each of them as markers.

[0056] CL images were taken for the above markers. According to the CL image, as attached Figure 5 As shown, it can be clearly seen that in the ore-bearing quartz veins, there are a large number of detrital zircons with cathodoluminescence in a single color (white or black) oscillatin...

Embodiment 3

[0062] Example 3: Using zircons to quickly determine the mineralization potential of the Banxi antimony deposit in Hunan

[0063] The Banxi Antimony Mine in Taojiang County, Hunan Province is located in the middle of the Jiangnan orogenic belt. There are a large number of quartz vein-type antimony deposits in the mining area, which are strictly controlled by faults. It is a typical representative of the vein-shaped antimony deposits in South China.

[0064]The zircon in two ore-bearing quartz vein samples and one wall rock sample of the deposit was selected for comparative analysis. The analysis process is as follows:

[0065] First, zircon sorting was carried out on the above three samples, and 100 zircons were randomly selected from each of them as markers.

[0066] CL images were taken for the above markers. According to the CL image, as attached Figure 10 As shown, it can be clearly seen that in the ore-bearing quartz vein ore samples (BX4-5, BX4-6), there are a large n...

Abstract

The invention discloses a mineral prospecting method for quickly judging the mineralization potential of a vein-shaped deposit by using zircons, comprising: using zircons to judge the ore-bearing properties of veins, sorting zircons in veins, and counting cathodoluminescence photos characteristics, zircon chronology characteristics, trace element characteristics and Lu-Hf isotopic characteristics, and the mineral-bearing properties of veins can be judged based on the above characteristic data. Use zircon to judge ore grade, determine the grade of a certain ore-forming element in the known ore sample according to the existing exploration data in the mining area, and estimate the grade of the ore-forming element in the unknown ore. The present invention has the advantages of: 1) can quickly and accurately determine the ore-bearing properties of vein-shaped ore deposit veins, and distinguish between vein-containing and vein-free; 2) can effectively indicate the overall average grade of ore-bearing veins; 3) can effectively monitor the depth of ore deposits Frontier prospecting proposes forward-looking predictions to shorten the prospecting cycle.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of mineral prospecting, in particular to a mineral prospecting method for quickly judging the mineralization potential of a vein-shaped deposit by using zircon. Background technique [0002] Mineral exploration refers to effectively identifying and evaluating the occurrence and reserves of ore bodies by studying the geological conditions of mineral formation and distribution, the occurrence rules of ore deposits, and the characteristics of ore body changes, so as to conduct geological, technical and economic evaluations. Vein-like deposits refer to ore-bearing deposits that extend very long in two directions (that is, large in length and width), but less developed in one direction (that is, small in thickness), and are a relatively common type of deposit. The most important content for the mineral exploration and evaluation of vein deposits is the rapid judgment of the ore-forming potential of the deposit, t...
