Abstract

Described herein is a system for generating electrical energy from the wave motion of the sea, which is provided with electrical-energy generating means for exploiting the wave motion of the sea in order to generate electrical energy. The system is characterized in that its floating body is provided with equipment designed to regulate the frequency of the resonance peak of the system.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a system for generating electrical energy from fluctuations in the ocean. [0002] In particular, the systems described herein are of the following types, including: [0003] - the floating body; and [0004] - electric-generating means arranged on said floating body and comprising: a body configured to move due to oscillation of said floating body about said main axis; and electric-generating means, The power generating device is configured to generate electrical energy due to movement of the body. Background technique [0005] Systems of the type in question make use of the oscillating motion of the ocean to transfer its kinetic energy to electrical energy generating means, which are then converted into electrical energy by the generating means. [0006] Some known systems of this type have electrical energy generating means provided with gyroscope structures. [0007] The applicant has in the past proposed differ...
