According to the invention, the time for measuring the embolism resistance of the plant xylem can be greatly shortened, the measurement does not need human intervention, errors caused by human factors are greatly reduced, and the measurement precision is further improved. In addition, a complete embolism vulnerability curve can be constructed by measuring one sample, so that not only is the measurement efficiency improved, but also potential errors among plant individuals are reduced. The economical efficiency of the equipment is excellent whilethe high precision of measurement is ensured.
