Abstract

The invention discloses application of piperlongumine in a herbicide for preventing and controlling an agricultural weed. The herbicide is used for preventing and controlling the agricultural weed. The active ingredient of the herbicide is piperlongumine with a concentration of 1-10 mg/mL. The agricultural weed is one or more than one selected from the group consisting of barnyard grass, sudangrass, abutilon fiber, edible amaranth, moleplant seed, amaranthus retroflexus, echinochloa oryzoides, eleusine indica, digitaria sanguinalis and spermacoce latifolia. The piperlongumine has a remarkable inhibition effect on the agricultural weed, and a natural-source herbicidal active substance is provided for prevention and control of the agricultural weed; piperlongumine can be used for preventing and treating various important agricultural weeds such as digitaria sanguinalis, abutilon fiber, barnyard grass and amaranthus retroflexus; and the characteristics of high efficiency, low toxicity, safety and the like of piperlongumine serving as a herbicide meet the requirements of creation and development of current novel pesticides.
