The method includes: Step 1, preparation of the tobacco field: After applying base fertilizer to the tobacco field, ridging is performed, followed by covering the soil surface with a biodegradable mulch film; Step 2, transplanting of tobacco plants: Using a perforating positioning component, several fixed-spaced planting holes are drilled in the tobacco field, and then the tobacco plants are transplanted into these holes; Step 3, intercropping with amaranth: After transplanting the tobacco plants, amaranth is intercropped on both sides of each row of tobacco plants; Step 4, harvesting of amaranth: The amaranth is harvested, and a second crop of amaranth is planted immediately after harvesting; Step 5, harvesting of tobacco plants: The upper leaves of the tobacco plants are harvested. This invention, by testing the intercropping pattern with amaranth, increases the potassium content in flue-cured tobacco leaves and simultaneously helps to fix the transplanting spacing of tobacco plants, ensuring uniform planting spacing.
