Abstract

When the umbrella-shaped structure body is closed, the part, covering the main ribs, of the umbrella cloth is accommodated in the inner side. The umbrella-shaped structural body is provided with umbrella stands (4) which are respectively arranged at the unfolding parts of the umbrella cloth covering the main ribs (3); a middle nest (14) driven by the lower nest (11) to move along the umbrella shaft (5) and capable of rotating around the umbrella shaft (5); a push-pull member (6) that connects the umbrella stand (4) and the middle nest (14), and that pulls the main ribs (3) closer to the umbrella shaft (5) as the lower nest (11) moves toward the umbrella handle (15) side, and that pulls the spread portion of the umbrella cloth closer to the umbrella shaft (5) side in response to the tension and relaxation of the umbrella cloth; and a rotating mechanism which rotates the middle nest (14) around the umbrella shaft (5) along with the movement of the lower nest (11) towards the umbrella handle (15) and rolls the unfolded part of the umbrella cloth between the umbrella shaft (5) and the main ribs (3).
