Abstract

Communication packets having a same channel identifier, which are exchanged between a pair of Bluetooth devices within a Bluetooth network are passed to a lower level layer through a connection handle in which their requested quality of service. In the lower level layer, the communication packets are distributed to buffers, each of which corresponds to each type of quality of service set in the connection handle. Alternatively, a service identifier corresponding to the quality of service is given to the communication packets in the lower level layer, and the packets are distributed to a suitable buffer based on the service identifier.
