[0015]The present invention provides apparatus and methods for knotless tissue fixation using a swivel suture anchor. In a preferred method, the swivel suture anchor is used with a suture chain formed of at least two loops of suture, preferably high strength suture. The loops of the chain are captured by mounting the swivel implant on a driver. The driver is also used to engage and lock the swivel implant in a hole in bone by inserting a cannulated fixation device (for example, an interference plug or screw) over the anchor.
