Abstract

A plastic bag includes a body having two sides. Each side of the body includes a corrugated portion having a layer unit with more than four layers. The load capacity of the plastic bag is increased due to reinforcement in structural strength at the sides by the corrugated portions. In preferred forms, the layer unit of each corrugated portion is interconnected to a bottom of the body. The layer unit of each corrugated portion has eight layers. The layer unit of each corrugated portion includes a recessed portion located inside of the body and having two sections contiguous to each other. Each section has four layers.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0001]The present invention relates to a plastic bag and, more particularly, to a plastic bag with reinforced sides by corrugated portions.[0002]Plastic bags are widely used in daily lives for various purposes including receiving articles, garbage, etc. The structural strength of plastic bags is often limited by their material in view of costs and, thus, has a limited load capacity.
