According to the water
buoyancy shifting method, an existing building is jacked upwards at the original site, a shifting ship is newly built at the bottom of the existing building at the original site, the existing building and the newly built shifting ship are fixed, and after the
water level rises to the designed
water level, the shifting ship loaded with the existing building is pulled from the original site to the new site through a traction power boat; a new site foundation is newly built below the displacement ship at the new site, the displacement ship is fixed to the newly-built foundation, the upper building is preliminarily fixed, a steel
sheet pile cofferdam is built at the new site, drainage treatment is conducted, and after water in the steel
sheet pile cofferdam is drained, the displacement ship is dismantled, and connection between the upper building and the newly-built foundation is reinforced. The construction method is suitable for displacement
engineering with large fill along the way, rich surrounding
water resources and light weight of the displaced existing building, and the novel
displacement method can be popularized and used.
