This invention provides an integrated soilless cultivation substrate and its supporting root-
cutting biochemical induction and
activation method. The substrate is a dry granular complex containing an organic framework matrix, mineral synergists, and
plant-derived
active components. The pores of the particles contain dormant microbial cells and
organic acid salts generated by the
fermentation and transformation of acid-producing microorganisms. This substrate extracts
plant active ingredients and chelates mineral elements through in-situ
fermentation of
lactic acid bacteria. When used, only watering is needed to activate the remaining microbial cells, achieving a combination of self-slow-release
nutrition and antibacterial and
antiseptic properties. The supporting method includes: after
cutting the roots and removing the soil, soaking the roots in the water-soaking solution of the substrate, using
lactic acid to acidify and seal the wounds,
osmotic pressure gradient to drive
nutrient pre-storage, and mechanical and chemical stress to synergistically induce
dormancy, and then activating them after cold shock treatment at 0-8℃. This invention can shorten the cold shock time by 50%-80%, and new roots will sprout 3-7 days after removal from storage. It is suitable for soilless cultivation and factory
seedling production of various high-value crops such as blueberries,
dendrobium, bayberries, rice, and soybeans.
