processing on the target
covariance matrix to obtain a smoothed target
covariance matrix; performing eigenvalue
decomposition on the smoothed target
covariance matrix to obtain an eigenvalue ratio, and updating the weights of the sensing data according to the eigenvalue ratio to iteratively update the target
covariance matrix; and if it is determined that the target object has an intention to
cut into a lane where a target vehicle currently locates according to the real-time updated and smoothed target covariance matrix, performing a pre-warning operation. The application improves the accuracy of pre-warning execution.
