Abstract

The invention discloses a method for uploading network element data to a network management database and a device thereof. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a data item list to be uploaded; according to the data item list to be uploaded, querying in the network management database to obtain the configuration data of the corresponding data items, and querying in the network elements to obtain the configuration data of the corresponding data items, comparing the two configuration data, constructing a corresponding data increment notification package according to the comparison result; carrying out the corresponding operation on the network management database according to the content of the data increment notification package, and realizing the increment entering database of the network element data. The device comprises a data item list obtaining module, a network management database query module, a network element query module, an increment notification construction module and a synchronization module. The method and the device of the invention can greatly shorten the uploading time of single network element; therefore, the efficiency of data uploading of the entire telecommunication network management system can be improved greatly.
