Abstract

The invention discloses a method for requesting response in P2P overlay network comprising: when target peer has received request message carrying with transfer node address, processing request and creates response message, sending the response message to the transfer node according to transfer node address in request message; the transfer node relays the response message to transmitting peer of the request message. The invention also discloses a peer of overlay network and request response system in P2P overlay network. The inventive scheme can solves problem of network address transfer and traversing under half-recursion routing mode in P2P overlay network.
