Abstract

The invention provides a liquid crystal display device including a first back-light source, a second back-light source and a liquid crystal panel. The first back-light source provides carmine back light and the second back-light source provides the green back light. The first and second back-light sources are periodically alternatively drived to provide the back light display image. The liquid crystal panel includes a liquid crystal layer and a color filter. A plurality of liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer are controlled for adjusting the penetration of the back light generated by the first and second back-light sources. The color filter includes a plurality of red pixel area, a plurality of transparent pixel area and a plurality of green pixel area for performing the colorful filtering treatment for the back light penetrating the liquid crystal layer.
