Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for estimating the reference signal received power (RSRP) of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. The method comprises the following steps: A. carrying out the channel estimation of a received RS (reference signal); B. obtaining the corresponding RSRP through calculation according to the channel estimation results of all the RSs in the coherent block; C. perform the weighted average to the RSRPs corresponding to all the coherent blocks within the ranges of measuring frequency bandwidth and measuring time; D. carrying out the noise power elimination on the RSRP obtained through the weighted average.
