[0011] Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the same reference numerals are used for the same elements in the figures and the initial explanation applies to all figures.

[0012] exist figure 1 In , the housing 1 of a coffee machine according to the invention is shown in a simplified perspective view. The housing 1 comprises a front 2, a side wall 3, a rear wall 4, a bottom 5 and an upper cover not shown in the drawings. The housing 1 is divided by a partition 6 into two compartments 8 , 9 , namely a front compartment 8 and a rear compartment 9 . In the front compartment 8 are arranged the means for preparing and pouring coffee. These components are in part powder preparation components, one or more brewing groups with drive and control components for the brewing device, electronic control components for the coffee vending machine, and coffee dispensing elements. These parts of the coffee vending machine are not shown in the drawings. The rear compartment 9 of the housing 1...

Abstract

The coffee machine according to the invention for the automatic preparation of coffee or espresso comprises a housing (1) with the components arranged therein for the preparation and dispensing of coffee as well as the components (10, 11, 12) for the supply of hot water and the supply of steam. The housing (1) is subdivided by means of a partition (6) into two compartments (8, 9), namely a front compartment (8), which is intended to accommodate the components for the preparation and dispensing of coffee, and a rear compartment (9) which is intended to contain the carrier element (7). The components (10, 11, 12) for the supply of hot water and the supply of steam are arranged in the carrier element (7). By virtue of the partition (6) there is a thermal separation and shielding between the two compartments (8, 9) on the one hand and, on the other hand, to a great extent, also a dry-moist separation. This modular structure substantially eases and simplifies the assembly and service tasks on the coffee machine.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a coffee machine according to the preamble of claim 1 . Background technique [0002] Such fully automatic coffee machines, also known as coffee dispensers, allow coffee beverages to be prepared at the push of a button and are used in particular in the catering industry. Typically, these machines are bulky and installed in fixed locations in the bar area. They include a housing in which all the components of the coffee vending machine are arranged. These components can be roughly divided into two groups. The first group includes components for supplying hot water and, if available, steam, and the second group includes components for preparing coffee. The first group consists of drinking water supply components, pumps feeding one or more boilers for supplying hot water and possibly steam, and equipment such as pipes and valves for delivering heated drinking water to the brewing unit part. The second group comprises powder p...
