Abstract

The invention relates to a video topic finding method based on an online video-sharing website structure and video description text information, belonging to the field of network multimedia information processing. The invention aims to solve the technical problem of video topic finding under the environment of high noise and uncertain topic number of a video-sharing website and helps the video topic finding by mainly utilizing the link relation of videos on the video-sharing website. The method comprises the following three steps of: adjusting a video BOW (Browsable Onair Witness) module parameters and enhancing text information by capturing related video information; polymerizing the topics by using keyword-based graph models; and correcting a result by utilizing an assumption that topic similarity is suggested by a response relationship between videos. The method can automatically find the topic structures of a great deal of network videos and effectively sum up topics of single videos on the premise of lacking priori knowledge and has obviously improved effect in comparison with several common methods.
