Abstract

A system and method include a display driver configured to be used in touch display equipment including touch-screen and display panel. The display driver comprises: a display driver for controlling display panel and generating controlling/timing signal; and a touch-screen controller for generating sensing data form the sensor input provided by the touch-screen. The sensor input is a sensor capacitance including touch capacitance, variable noise capacitance and background capacitance. The generation of sensor data comprises: reducing background capacitance level during generating output voltage from the sensor input, and/or removing variable noise voltage corresponding to the variable noise capacitance from the output voltage during converting the output voltage into sensing data.
