Embodiment Construction

[0020] exist figure 1 shows an exterior door handle 10 according to the invention. The door exterior handle 10 has a handle 11 consisting of a handle shell 12 and a face plate 14 . In addition, a button 50 is also provided on the outer side 18 of the handle 11 .

[0021] The internal structure of door external handle 10 and handle 11 is by Figures 2 to 4 For details see, Figures 2 to 4 show figure 1 The overall cross-sectional view of the door exterior handle 10 in FIG.

[0022] here, figure 2 The door exterior handle 10 is shown in plan view in section. The electronic component 30 can be seen, which is connected via a docking point 32 to the connection point 24 of one of the handle hooks 20 . One of the handle hooks 20 and the handle shell 12 are here constructed in two parts.

[0023] At one end 22 of one of the handle hooks 20 there is a connection point 24 , while the plug-in part 25 is located at the other end 23 of one of the handle hooks 20 . The plug connec...

Abstract

The invention relates to an exterior door handle, particularly for vehicles, comprising a stirrup-shaped handle that is hollow at least in some regions. The handle has one or two handle hooks, which are used to fasten the handle to the vehicle door. The hollow space of the handle can accommodate electronic components, which can be connected by cables to the vehicle electronics. The handle has at least approximately a U-shaped handle shell, the space of which is used to accommodate the electronic components, and a facing, which is provided to close the opening of the handle shell. The electronic components are potted in the handle shell in a waterproof manner. The cables are non-detachably connected to one of the handle hooks, particularly potted therewith or insert molded. By way of the handle hook, the cables are guided through the outer door sheet metal into the interior so as to enable contacting there with the vehicle electronics.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an exterior door handle, in particular for motor vehicles. Such door handles contain electronic components that are presently common, which are used, for example, to identify the user's access authorization to the motor vehicle. The difficulty with such an exterior door handle is that, on the one hand, the electronic component must come into electrically conductive contact with the vehicle electronics. On the other hand, however, it is equally important to protect the electronic components located in the outer door handle from moisture. Background technique [0002] DE 102 56 842 A1 proposes to prepot the electronic components and then insert the prepotted electronics into the handle of the door exterior handle with one of the handle hooks and close the handle with the handle hook. In this case, however, the disadvantage is that moisture can thus enter the interior of the handle. If the electronic component is provided, for ...
