Abstract

The invention discloses a light-emitting diode (LED) lamp controller based on a digital pulse-width modulation (PWM) control technology. The LED lamp controller comprises a power management module, a direct current-direct current (DC-DC) convertor, a constant current control circuit which corresponds to one or more sets of LED lamp strings one to one, and a control module, wherein the input end of the power management module receives a power voltage signal input from the outside; the control module receives a PWM signal input from the outside; the input end of the DC-DC convertor is electrically connected with the output end of the power management module; the output end of the DC-DC convertor is electrically connected with one end of the one set of LED lamp string or of each of the multiple sets of LED lamp strings; the control module is electrically connected with the control end of the DC-DC convertor and the input end of the constant current control circuit; and the output end of the constant current control circuit is electrically connected with the other end of the one set of LED lamp string or of each of the multiple sets of LED lamp strings. A combined circuit formed by basic components is used for controlling a signal set of LED lamp string, and multiple sets of LED lamp strings which are parallelly connected with one another; and the LED lamp controller has the characteristics of low cost and flexile control.

Description

technical field

[0001] The invention relates to an LED lamp control device, in particular to an LED lamp controller based on digital PWM control technology. Background technique

[0002] High Brightness Lighting Emitted Diode (HBLED) has been widely used in the field of automotive lighting because of its high light conversion efficiency, low power consumption, low heat, fast start-up, and long life. High-brightness diodes are used in the daytime running lights of many cars.

[0003] Currently, automotive LED light controllers usually use application-specific integrated circuits, and their structure is roughly as follows: Figure 8 shown. The input end of the power management module 91 receives the power supply voltage signal sent by the vehicle body control module 100 , and the output end is connected to the LED control chip 92 in the LED lamp controller 9 . The LED control chip 92 converts the battery voltage to the voltage required by the LED light string 200, and contro...

Embodiment Construction

[0022] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0023] Such as figure 1 As shown, the LED light controller of the present invention includes a power management module 1, a DC-DC converter 2, and one or more sets of constant current control circuits 3 corresponding to one set of LED light strings or multiple sets of LED light strings and control module 4. The input terminal of the power management module 1 receives the power supply voltage signal input from the outside, the output terminal is electrically connected to the input terminal of the DC-DC converter 2, and the output terminal of the DC-DC converter 2 is connected to a group of LED light strings or multiple groups of LED lights One end of the light string 200 is electrically connected. The DC-DC converter 2 is used to convert the input voltage into the working voltage required by the LED light string.

[0024] The structure of the power management module...
