Abstract

The invention relates to the field of product design and discloses a product innovation designing method based on a problem solving process. The method comprises the following steps of: establishing a product designing method knowledge base by using a currently recognized product designing method; assisting the product development by using the problem solving process; stimulating designer creativity by using a cognitive theory, product knowledge and design information; and assisting the designer to finish the product innovation design in the problem solving process. The method has four steps of finding the problem, analyzing the problem, solving the problem and evaluating the solution. Three methods of a product oriented method, a market oriented method and a technology oriented method are adopted in the step of finding the problem. A QFD (Quality Function Deployment) analysis method is adopted in the product oriented method in the step of analyzing the problem; and a problem system modeling method is adopted for the problem oriented conflict. In the problem solving step, a body analysis module is first adopted; and then methods of direct calculation, knowledge guide, thinking guide, group solving, technology guide, heuristic approach and the like are adopted for solving the problem. Therefore, the efficiency and quality are improved in the problem solving process.
