Problems solved by technology

[0004] Technical problem: The precoding method based on channel statistical information applied to the multi-cell cooperative system proposed by the present invention is mainly to solve the problem that a large amount of feedback information is required when the existing precoding scheme is applied in the actual multi-cell cooperative system. A precoding method with close to ideal performance, easy to implement, low requirement on the accuracy of feedback information and strong robustness is proposed, which effectively reduces the complexity of channel information feedback in multi-cell cooperative systems

Embodiment Construction

[0054] The present invention is a precoding method based on channel statistical information applied to a multi-cell cooperative system. The principles and calculation methods of precoding vectors based on channel second-order statistical information are provided for JP and CB cooperation modes respectively.

[0055] (1) Precoding vector calculation method in JP cooperation mode

[0056] For a JP cooperative mode system, assuming that N base stations are communicating with K users at the same time, each base station has n t root transmit antennas, each user has n r The root receiving antenna, the user performs single-layer data stream transmission. Then the received data of the kth user can be expressed as

[0057] y k = ( Σ i = 1 N H ik w ...

Abstract

A channel statistical information-based precoding method for a multi-cell cooperation system comprises that (1) multi-cell base stations participating in cooperation obtain second-order statistical information of all user channels of the system; (2) base stations cooperate with each other, and precoding vectors of all users of the system are calculated by using the obtained second-order statistical information of channels according to the channel statistical information-based precoding method; and (3) base stations multiply data which are required to be sent by each user by the corresponding precoding vector of the user and send precoded data. The method is characterized in that real-time information is replaced with the statistical information of channels and precoding vectors are calculated by using the channel statistical information-based precoding method. In the system, when Doppler spread of channels is small, and when precoding vectors obtained on the basis of the second-order statistical information of channels are compared with precoding vectors obtained on the basis of the real-time information of channels, performance loss at operating points is small.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a precoding algorithm applied to a multi-cell cooperative system. Background technique [0002] In the Long Term Evolution (LTE), the Multiple Input Output (MIMO) technology utilizes multiple receiving and transmitting antennas to provide diversity and multiplexing gain for the system by precoding at the transmitting end. However, in a multi-cell environment, due to the interference between cells and scheduling users, the capacity gain of the system will be greatly reduced, especially for users at the edge of the cell, the performance loss will be serious. In response to this problem, 3GPP proposed a multi-cell joint transmission (CoMP) scheme, that is, multiple base stations cooperate to send data to users to effectively control interference between cells and improve system performance. The downlink transmission of the CoMP system mainly considers two cooperative modes, namely Joint Transmission (JP) and Coordinated Schedulin...
