Abstract

The invention discloses a Mobile IPv6 network management system. According to the network management system, a simple network management protocol (SNMP) management process is run at a management node; an SNMP agent process and a certain mobile IPv6 network process are run at a managed node, so that the managed node is responsible for realizing corresponding role functions like a role as a home agent and the like; and the management node obtains state information of the managed node by communication between the SNMP agent process and the mobile IPv6 network process of the managed node or sets key parameters for the managed node to realize management on a mobile IPv6 network. According to the mobile IPv6 network management system provided by the invention, not only can normal and efficient running of a network be ensured, but also a secure and reliable network service can be provided for a user.
