Abstract

The invention discloses a patrol-robot-based comprehensive parameter detection system for substations. The system is characterized by comprising a base station system area and at least one mobile station system area. The base station system area is connected with the mobile station system areas by wireless communication. The invention further discloses an inspection method using a patrol robot. The system is capable of detecting comprehensive substation parameters. The patrol robot is capable of effectively communicating with a control center at any inspection site and communicating with the control center to receive commands and return information. The inspection method is quite humane and intelligent to operate, and the patrol robot is capable of undertaking various emergent inspection tasks.
