Problems solved by technology

However, this method has the following problems: the surface of the glass is not uniformly etched, and impurities generated in the etching process adhere to the surface of the glass, making the surface of the glass rough
[0007] However, the etching method using air bubbles has a problem that when the air bubble moves toward the upper end of the etching tank, it joins with the air bubbles around it to become very large, so that a vortex occurs in the etching tank, thereby bending the glass
When the glass is bent due to swirls, the glass may become brittle and it is difficult to etch the glass uniformly

Abstract

Bubble generator for glass etching equipment. A bubble generator for a glass etching device is provided to generate microbubbles for etching glass. The bubble generator includes: an air intake pipe installed on the lower portion of the etching tank and having a plurality of holes on its outer surface for discharging the gas fed into the air intake pipe; a hole socket fixedly inserted into the hole of the air intake pipe and the hole The socket has a plurality of fine holes in communication with the respective holes; and a bubble generation filter coupled to an upper surface of the respective hole sockets and generating gas bubbles for glass etching in the etching tank. The bubble generator uniformly generates microbubbles having a size in micrometers in the etching tank using a bubble generating filter. Therefore, the problems of the prior art, that is, occurrence of vortices in the etching tank due to coalescence of air bubbles to increase in size and glass bending due to the vortices, can be prevented in advance. In addition, stable and uniform etching of glass is enabled by microbubbles.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a bubble generator for a glass etching device, and more particularly, to a bubble generator for a glass etching device capable of generating fine bubbles for etching glass. Background technique [0002] Various flat panel displays, such as liquid crystal displays (LCDs), plasma display panels (PDPs), electroluminescent displays (ELDs), and vacuum fluorescent displays (VFDs), have recently been studied. Among these displays, LCD is most actively researched due to its good image quality and low power consumption, although it has various drawbacks. [0003] Currently in the market, LCDs are used in portable televisions (TVs) and laptops, but there are still many problems to be solved. In particular, since users always carry portable TVs and laptops, reducing the size or weight of LCDs to some extent is considered a key success factor for LCD development. In order to reduce the size or weight of the LCD, various methods m...
