Abstract

The invention discloses heaven and earth changers for researching the change culture in ancient China. The traditional hexagram obtaining methods comprises a yarrow folding method and a coin method, wherein in the yarrow folding method, 50 yarrows are taken to be subjected to four operations and eighteen changes to obtain one hexagram and trigrams thereof; in the coin method, three identical coins are taken to be placed in a turtle shell or bamboo drum, then the turtle shell or the bamboo drum is shaken for 6 times to obtain one hexagram and trigrams thereof; the two methods are complex, time-consuming and not easy to master. The invention provides a new hexagram obtaining mode comprising the steps of taking and placing six heaven and earth changers into a utensil, performing shaking once and obtaining one hexagram and the trigrams thereof according to rules, wherein three groups each of which comprises two changers are arranged in total and each group and the upper and lower trigrams of each group are marked with colors or labels. After a user uses the heaven and earth changers to obtain the hexagram, the method is simple, fast to use and easy to master, the probability for obtaining the hexagram and the trigrams thereof is the same as that of the yarrow folding method and the coin method, and the heaven and earth changers can be used for replacing the traditional yarrow folding method and the coin method and are heredity and development of traditional Chinese culture.
