Abstract

The invention discloses a quantification project resource control method based on the UML. The method includes the steps that project management objectives and impact factors are determined, and sub-process indicators and sub-impact-factors of each stage in the software process are recognized; the impact factors used for UML modeling are recognized according to historical project data; UMP models of each stage in the software process are established and the complexity of the UML models is estimated according to the recognized sub-process indicators and sub-impact-factors of each stage; process performance baselines (PPBs) and process performance models (PPMs) of each stage in the software process are established according to the recognized sub-process indicators and sub-impact-factors; the value range of each sub-process indicator is estimated according to the estimated UML model complexity, and whether the sub-process indicators meet project demands or not is determined according to the PPBs and the PPMs. According to the method, a standard measurement unit based on the UML is provided, and therefore the front and back links of the whole software process can have predictability and manageability, and estimation accuracy is improved; meanwhile, a guarantee for establishment of scientific and reasonable PPBs and PPMs in later stage is provided.
