The image processing method comprises the following steps: acquiring a first image taken by a first pick-up device and a second image taken by a second pick-up device; performing comparison on all pixels of the first image and the second image to mark pixels whose pixel similarity is no greater than a first threshold value as same pixels and make pixels whose pixel similarity is greater than the first threshold value as different pixels; and performing encoding on all pixels of the first image and the different pixels in the second image. In the application, the pixels in the two images whose pixel similarity is no greater than the first threshold value are marked as the same pixels, and the pixels in the two images whose pixel similarity is greater than the first threshold value are marked as the different pixels, and then all pixels of the first image and the different pixels in the second image are encoded. Thus, according to the application, when encoding is performed on two images, the encoding data volume is reduced, so that the resultant velocity can be improved.
