Abstract

According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, renal tuberculosis is caused by kidney affection by tuberculosis pathogenic bacteria and injury of spleen and kidney, resulting in deficiency in spleen and kidney and loss of qi and blood, with symptoms like neurolysis, loose stool, dizziness and soreness of waist. Traditional Chinese medicinal materials with effects of clearing away heat and toxic materials and promoting diuresis, including Sophora davidii, Brachystemma calycinu, Boenninghausenia albiflora, Ophioglossum vulgatum, Maclura tricuspidata, Clematis buchananiana, Vaccinium vitis-idaea leaf, Averrhoa carambola leaf, Potentilla reptans and Radix Polygalae (Polygala tenuifolia and/or Polygala sibirica), are decocted into decoction.
