A device comprises an acquiring module, a comparing module and a reporting module. By using the data reporting method, only the current gravity sensor data of which the variable quantity is greater than the reporting threshold value is reported, an upper procedure only needs to compute and judge the current gravity sensor data of which the variable quantity is greater than the reporting threshold value, system resources are saved, and the power consumption of the mobile terminal is reduced.
