Abstract

A two-sided liquid crystal display device comprises an outer shell, two liquid crystal display panels and a backlight module. The outer shell comprises a separation wall and two surrounding walls which respectively extend from the outer periphery of the separation wall in the opposite directions, the separation wall is made of lightproof materials, containing spaces are defined by the surrounding walls and the separation wall together, and openings communicated with the containing spaces are formed in the surrounding walls respectively. The liquid crystal display panels are arranged in the corresponding containing spaces and are adjacent to the corresponding openings. The backlight module comprises two optical film units and a light emitting unit, the optical film units are arranged in the corresponding containing spaces and located between the separation wall and the corresponding liquid crystal display panels, and the light emitting unit is arranged on the separation wall and used for providing light for the two optical film units.
