Abstract

A curved display device, comprising: a liquid crystal panel; a backlight unit for providing light to the liquid crystal panel, and the backlight unit includes a light guide plate with a curvature. The backlight unit further includes an elastic optical guide member coupled to the light guide plate, the elastic optical guide member having substantially the same curvature as that of the light guide plate. The curved display device further includes a first frame having substantially the same curvature as that of the elastic optical guide member, and a reinforcement member, the first frame is coupled to the backlight unit and configured to The backlight unit is supported; the reinforcement member has substantially the same curvature as that of the first frame, the reinforcement member is coupled to the first frame.
