The present invention also provides a system for controlling a breathing lamp, comprising: a first monitoring module configured to monitor whether there is provided an unprocessed notification; an acquisition module configured to acquire information of the sender who sends the unprocessed notification when the unprocessed notification is monitored; a storage module configured to store display requirement of the breathing lamp in advance; a determination module configured to determine whether the sender of the unprocessed notification satisfies the preset display requirement of the breathing lamp and to generate a display command when display requirement of the breathing lamp is satisfied; a display module configured to display the breathing lamp; and a control module configured to control the display module for displaying the breathing lamp according to the display command.
