Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for determining the asphaltene content by low field nuclear magnetic resonance. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out low field nuclear magnetic resonance measurement on a crude oil sample by adopting FID (free induction decay) pulse sequence to obtain a crude oil sample FID signal intensity curve of the crude oil sample; carrying out low field nuclear magnetic resonance measurement according to a preset CPMG (Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill) echo interval to obtain a CPMG echo intensity curve of the crude oil sample; analyzing the FID signal intensity curve of the crude oil sample and the CPMG echo intensity curve of the crude oil sample to obtain signal intensity difference data of the crude oil sample; and determining the asphaltene content in the crude oil sample according to the signal intensity difference data of the crude oil sample.
