The method for storing the wheat by utilizing the wheat bran comprises the following steps: (1) drying the wheat in the sun at noon of a sunny day, wherein the wheat is turned over when being dried in the sun, and the wheat bran and a wheat bran storage bin made from sorghum or reed extension rods are dried in the sun at the same time; (2) firstly paving a hot wheat bran layer at the bottom of the bin, and then covering the wheat bran with jute bag pieces or a plastic film; (3) putting the dried wheat into the bin while the wheat is hot, sealing, and then additionally adding one outer storage bin outside the wheat bran storage bin for specially storing the wheat bran; and (4) after the outer storage bin is filled with the wheat bran, covering the top of the outer storage bin with a plastic film, and tying the periphery of the plastic film onto the outer storage bin with a rope. The method for storing the wheat by utilizing the wheat bran has the advantages that insects can be killed, moistureproof and ratproof effects can be realized, temperature in the storage bin is more than 42 DEG C and can maintain for 10 days, and the aim of killing the insects can be achieved.
