Abstract

The invention provides a method for executing active noise reduction for an earphone in an electronic terminal and an electronic terminal thereof. The method comprises: (A), detecting a type of an earphone connected with an electronic terminal; (b), setting an active noise reduction parameter according to a detection result; and (C), on the basis of the set active noise reduction parameter, generating a noise reduction signal for eliminating environment noises and outputting the noise reduction signal by the earphone. According to the method and the electronic terminal, proper active noise reduction parameters can be set according to various earphones, so that good noise reduction effects can be relized for various earphones.
