The color-resistor mask plate comprises a contraposition coating mark region and a contraposition testing mark region, wherein the contraposition coating mark region comprises a plurality of contraposition coating marks which are coated with colorful film color resistors and are arranged at equal distances; the contraposition testing mark region comprises a plurality of contraposition testing marks which are coated with testing color resistors and are arranged at equal distances; the contraposition testing marks are in one-to-on correspondence with the contraposition coating marks. The invention further provides the application method of the color-resistor mask plate. According to the color-resistor mask plate and the application method thereof, provided by the invention, the production cost of a colorful film base plate is low and a production flow of the colorful film base plate is relatively simple.
