Abstract

The invention provides a multistage traffic responsive type signal control method for road section pedestrian crossing, comprising steps of installed a set of automobile signal lamps on automobiles in each passing direction, installing four sets of pedestrian signal lamps on two ends of the sidewalk and on a pedestrian street crossing safety island, wherein the automobile signal lamps belong to the same one automobile phase, and the pedestrian signal lamps belong to the same one pedestrian phase, presetting two working states which are for the automobiles to pass for a long time and for the automobiles and the pedestrians to pass alternatively , installing an annular coil detector at the position which is 40 meters up from a stop line of each automobile road, installing a pedestrian requiring button on each pedestrian signal lamp rod, and utilizing signal time distribution data and traffic detection data to constitute various traffic incidents. In the controlling process, time frame division is not needed, and the dynamic adjustment of the signal lamp colors of the automobiles and the pedestrians is realized, continuous time of any working state is automatically extended and the various working states can be automatically switched by using the traffic accidents happen in real time as driving mechanism.
