Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system of utilizing a proximity sensor to transmit data. The method comprises: when a first proximity sensor installed at a first intelligent terminal detecting that a second proximity sensor installed at a second intelligent terminal is in a sensing area, building connection between the first proximity sensor and the second proximity sensor; the first intelligent terminal determining whether data is less than a preset data threshold; and when the data is less than a preset data threshold, the first proximity sensor directly transmitting the data to the second proximity sensor. The method substantially simplifies a data transmission process among mobile terminals, does not require extra devices, reduces costs and provides convenience for users.
