The five-unit range finding sonar is used for detecting obstacles in the front, top, bottom, left and right directions and the distances from the UUV to the obstacles. The collision avoidance computer conducts closing control on the valve group and enables the inflation and deflation system to inflate or deflate the retractable safe air bag according to the situation whether the detected distances from the UUV to the obstacles are within a safe critical distance range, and further utilizes the retractable safe air bag to protect the UUV against obstacle collision.
