The method is simple in installation and has lower cost, but can effectively settle the problem of bushing flashover under non-uniform rain. The method adopts the basic principle that a uniform rain device that can avoid non-uniform rain moistening is arranged directly above the top of the bushing in order to ensure uniform moistening on the surface of the bushing. When the surface of the bushing is uniformly moistened, the electric field distribution on the surface is almost consistent with which when the surface of the bushing is completely dry, so the flashover problem caused by non-uniform electric field distribution when the surface of the bushing is non-uniformly moistened can be effectively settled. The device consists of a uniform rain net and a uniform rain net support. The side length of each mesh of the uniform rain net shall not be less than 30mm, and the water drop on the surface of the net in the state of slanting raining shall be ensured to drop vertically on the surface of the bushing. The net adopts stainless steel or high strength insulation material. The mounting height of the net shall be detailedly calculated, and relevant experiments shall be carried out when necessary to ensure the minimum distance between the net, the support and the bushing end meet the requirement of safe air distance and avoid electric power generation. When the installation is completed, experiment with the net using artificial rainfall shall be conducted to ensure that the surface of the bushing can be uniformly moistened. The operating principle of the uniform moistening on the bushing shall refer to an attached drawing in the abstract.
