The invention discloses a stable solution method for realizing multipath video input by a single PC. The stable solution method disclosed by the invention comprises the following steps: step 1, a main process of an application program creates a command line parameter for starting a capture process, wherein the contents of the command line parameter comprise a window handle of the main process for inter-process communication, an identification serial number of the capture process, and a camera serial number to be captured, and then starting the capture process through the command line parameter; step 2, analyzing the window handle of the main process for inter-process communication, the identification serial number of the capture process and the camera serial number to be captured from the command line parameter, and then calling a capture function provided by a DirectShow framework of the Windows to start the capture; and step 3, combining the captured data with the identification serial number of the capture process, sending the same to the window handle transmitted by the command line parameter through SendMessage, receiving the window handle by the main process and carrying out subsequent processing.
